Julianna Barwick started the year off staying true to her will. The experimental artist finally released her long-awaited self-produced project - dense in glacial chord progression, stirring loop-heavy vocals and textured synths. But now that the year has come to an end, and the album has played its part, Julianna has immersed herself in new inspirations looking forward.

So we asked her to compile a list of current sonic obsessions so we can see where she's at and hopefully find the same kind of peace, while we wait for new music.

"Here is a collection of sounds so inspiring to me over the years- my whole life to be exact," she says. The second to last track is the song 'a cappella', sung by the true life singers, a group my mom sang in when I was a kid- lots of a cappella church songs! Hope you enjoy."
