The first sampling of Julien Baker's upcoming sophomore album was the devastatingly stark 'Appointments', which showed that the young songwriter had increased in depth, both sonically and lyrically. Today, we get to hear the title track from the upcoming Turn Out The Lights, which further displays the strength and courage evident in Baker's songwriting.

'Turn Out The Lights' comes with a video, which seems almost like a sequel to the one for 'Appointments' (and was once again directed by Sophia Peer), with Baker wandering around in the wilderness, singing her heart out - equally lost and perfectly at home. Julien Baker's Turn Out The Lights is set for release through Matador on October 27th. She'll be touring Europe throughout November, dates are below.
