Hot-headed Kanye West took a break from hating the world this week to show his softer side, declaring his undying love for Kardashian heiress and reality TV mannequin Kim Kardashian in front of a crowd of friends and family at San Francisco's AT&T Park.

The huge private event included a 50-piece orchestra who played Lana Del Rey's 'Young & Beautiful' and Keri Hilson's 'Knock You Down', a track that also features Ne-Yo and, you guessed it, Kanye himself.

Of course no engagement would be complete without a big ole rock and kim got one - a 15 carat diamond sparkler created by jeweller to the stars Lorraine Schwarz.

For the entire length of their relationship, there have been nay-sayers doubting their love. Here's what Kanye has to say about it:

"I could have people saying, 'This is going to damage your credibility as an artist or a designer, and I say, 'I don't care. I love this woman.' Or someone could say, 'When the paparazzi surround you, everyone knows you don't like the paparazzi. Why would you be with this person?' And I'm saying, 'I'm being with this person because I love this person and she's worth it to me."

That's all cool and whatnot Yeezy and we're gonna let you finish, all we're gonna say is don't forget that pre-nup. We ain't saying Kim's a gold-digger, but she doesn't appear to have ever messed with no broke fellas.
