Forgetting for just a second that he could potentially wind up in prison for a few months, Kanye West has asked famous graphic artist Peter Saville to design him a new logo.

I'mma let you finish, but Saville, famous for his previous work with Joy Division (Unknown Pleasures), New Order (Power, Corruption & Lies) and Suede (Coming Up), is perhaps responsible for some of the most famous album covers of all time. Of all time. So it's no wonder one of the most famous rappers in the music business at the moment has asked for his services.

The collaboration was confirmed by Saville himself during the Global Design Forum in London on Monday night. "We're looking at ways of writing 'Kanye West'. What does 'Kanye' and 'Kanye West' look like written down?" he explained. Saville has got his work cut out as well, with Kanye demanding that his new logo be as timeless and iconic as Adolphe Mouron Cassandre's design for fashion company Yves Saint Laurent, telling Saville: 'You're Cassandre."
