In what is no doubt yet another piece of Kanye West news to add to your morning reading, Universal Music have announced that Yeezy's fourth studio album, the one that has probably caused the most divide amongst fans, 808s & Heartbreak, is set to be reissued and remastered on vinyl.

As part of the 'Respect The Classics' campaign, Universal are gathering together classic albums from its expansive catalogues, dipping into those of its subsidiaries such as Def Jam and Interscope too, and re-releasing them in the hopes to "spotlight iconic, genre defining albums." The project kicks off on October 22nd with the re-release of DMX's first two albums , one on gold vinyl and the other on clear with a blood splatter on it, and will then continue in November with the re-release of albums from the likes of 50 Cent and Public Enemy, with dates still not yet confirmed for those by Lil Wayne, Common, and NERD.
