First Kanye West supports Donald Trump and now Kate Bush is gushing over Theresa May. It hasn't been a good week for iconic artists and their political views.

In a new interview with Canadian publication Maclean's, Kate praises the Conservative leader, calling her "wonderful" and stating that she think's May is "the best thing that's happened to us in a long time."

"We have a female prime minister here in the UK. I actually really like her and think she's wonderful," she said. "She's a very intelligent woman but I don't see much to fear. I will say it is great to have a woman in charge of the country. She’s very sensible and I think that’s a good thing at this point in time." While she may stand behind her statements, a lot of her fans have taken to Twitter to denounce the artist.
