Terrence Crutcher and Keith Lamont Scott - two black men that were murdered at the hands of police this week. In the wake of pain and outrage, Kelela has released a statement on her Instagram to discuss her feelings and get real about racism and how to be a good ally to black people during this time.

"Tired of white people telling me what I should and shouldn't feel," she wrote. "People who are not black need to be listening (not talking or making suggestions) right now... when you talk before listening, you undermine the racism and hatred that we've experienced for years that would inform the solutions we've already come up with."
