After all of this. After everything. A New York stage judge has decided to side with Sony rather than Kesha, following a strenuous fight to free herself from a record contract. She had initially been denied an emergency order to free herself from the label on the grounds that their producer Dr. Luke had raped her. The company moved to have the case dismissed and a judge did precisely that on Wednesday, stating that she wasn't at all a "slave" to Sony because the company never pushed her to work exclusively with Dr. Luke.

In an Instagram post a few days prior, Kesha stated that Sony had offered her a way out of her contract if she would state that her rape accusations against Dr. Luke were false and publicly apologize. Now, the judge has called her refusal to take the offer unreasonable, throwing her case out of court. We're sick. Love and light to Kesha.

Our open letter to Sony still stands.
