While Kesha's case against Dr. Luke and Sony has been thrown out of court, following accusations that the producer had sexually abused her, Dr. Luke countersued Kesha and her mother Pebe Sebert for defamation. Kesha's mother also sued for emotional distress, in Tennessee, but after years of turmoil and court proceedings, she has dropped the case.

Pebe Sebert's lawyer Alex Little has shared a statement. "The litigation with Dr. Luke has been a nightmare for Mrs. Sebert and her family," he wrote. "She has decided to move on and find peace and forgiveness in her heart rather than dwelling in the cancerous past of an ongoing lawsuit with no end in sight."

Meanwhile, Kesha has teamed up with Zedd on new music, which has been teased for release tomorrow. TMZ reports that the song 'True Colors,' that the pair performed at Coachella, will be released via Zedd's label Interscope and that Sony and Dr. Luke's Kemosabe imprint signed off and gave Kesha permission to do the project. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for new Kesha.
