Just a few months after finishing up on Run The Jewels 2, El-P and Killer Mike are already planning the beginnings of their third album together. Or at least according to a brief answer Killer Mike gave to someone pressing them about RTJ's future plans.

Amidst rumours of Zac de la Rocha being once more involved – having featured on their previous album – El-P composed a tweet that put all eagerlings in their place:

please understand the ZDLR thing is not at all %100. y'all gonna fuck it up by jumping the gun on that one. bad luck. BAD LUCK I SAY.

However, I guess they had reason to believe it would be happening – just look at the picture of the three of 'em, a photo that appeared on Killer Mike's instagram; also, El-P himself said the following at an in-store event at Rough Trade East, London, on Tuesday:

In 1999 I spent a month in my apartment in Brooklyn with Zack de la Rocha just before he split Rage Against The Machine, working on music that will never see the light of day. I can't speak about his future but I will say that I'm going to LA to spend another month with him in January.

So… who knows.

In the meantime let's remind ourselves of that Zac de la Rocha-featuring track, 'Close Your Eyes (And Count To Fuck)'.
