Update: Warner Bros. have issued a statement that might make you cry. The songs Kimbra wrote with Flying Lotus and Dave Longstreth won't be used on the album, but will be released further down the line. They also announced that "bonus tracks on the deluxe edition include appearances from Ben Weinman of the Dillinger Escape Plan, The Mars Volta's Omar Rodríguez-López, and Jonas Bjerre of Danish band Mew."

You probably know her best for featuring on Gotye's virus-like 'Somebody That I Used To Know', but Kimbra is looking to change that with her sophomore studio album (due out on August 18th).

The Golden Echo succeeds 2011's Vows and is set to feature a bunch of special guests: Flying Lotus, Dirty Projectors frontman Dave Longstreth, At The Drive-In / Mars Volta's Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, John Legend, Thundercat, Muse's Matt Bellamy abd Foster The People's Mark Foster to a name but a few!
