King avriel, the completely DIY pop and R&B project of relative newcomer Avriel Epps, has put out three songs so far, each more accomplished than the last. The latest of her works to be funded by her UCLA scholarship - and realised in her own bedroom - is 'Caricatures'. It's a wonderful hint as to what the debut full-length Avriel is planning to release sometime this spring will sound like.

Link it love, and the dictionary definition emblazoned on it's cover art is a pretty great indicator of what you'll find within it's lyrics:

"'Caricature': A Representation, especially pictorial or literary, in which the subject's distinctive features or peculiarities are deliberately exaggerated to produce a comic or grotesque effect".
