Northern Irish musician Kitt Philippa has released the emotive, powerful accompanying visual to ‘You’, lifted from the EP of the same name. Recent winner of the Northern Irish Music Prize for single of the year, Kitt’s brand of somber alternative is reaching shores far beyond their homeland. ‘You’, the title track to a recently released four track collection is an arresting slow burner, fractured piano keys meet pained vocal notes and embrace in haunting solitude.

It’s a heartbreaking plea as Kitt admits to not being able to cease feelings of complete, hopeless devotion. Gloomy brass instruments arrive to offer some comfort to the funereal tones as scenes of grief play out in the video, directed by duo Luna (Luke Daly and Nathan Fagan). Speaking of the video, Kitt noted: "Humans know loss. Absence, through the process of grieving, can seem like it is living: it gives way to love and care from other humans and adds to a complex infrastructure. Walsh-Peelo's performance is poignant and the interaction with the additional characters creates a moving encounter.”
