Kurt uses synthetic apple crunches, SNES bass riffs, Mario Paint piano keys, and a crisp click track as his building blocks on 'Windows', creating a gorgeous wash of synth driven atmospherics. It should be on the Hotline Miami soundtrack, but it comes to us instead from Future Collective's Future Volume 2, available now from here as a cassette or download.

The title 'Windows' can only mean the glass of a TV screen. The songs rings with the same static buzz and warm glow that you found within any old 4:3 fuzz box, a visual decay that -- if viewed by the right set of longing and nostalgia ridden eyes -- can see an otherwise obscure beauty in the dancing pixels and blurred reflections.
