Following the news that Kyuss Lives! member Nick Oliveri will feature on the next Queens Of The Stone Age LP comes a rather interesting development for the band that consists of former Kyuss members.

The original Kyuss broke up many years ago but several members of the band formed a band named Kyuss Lives! that performed the band's classic tracks on the live circuit. Josh Homme and Scott Reede (former members of Kyuss) didn't like that at all so they filed a lawsuit against Kyuss Lives! citing "trademark infringement and consumer fraud", and in August a judge ruled that the new band could actually continue to use the name.

However, the band has decided to start a new chapter in their musical careers and have renamed themselves to Vista Chino. The group plans to release a new LP and also go on tour in 2013.
