French strange-wavers La Femme have unveiled the first single from their forthcoming sophomore album, which is rumoured to be released in September.

'Sphinx' was premiered live last night at France Inter's radio show Le Nouveau Rendez-Vous, where they also discussed the new LP, saying that it is still untitled (names like "Jazz", "Pure Vibes", and "Pénétration" - the hosts' favourite - were being considered) and that it somehow distances itself from their 2013 debut Psycho Tropical Berlin by featuring longer, more experimental cuts (they were probably talking about 'Me Suive').

Today they've shared the video for 'Sphinx', an obviously weird-looking piece that sees band member Marlon getting involved as a director. You can check it out below, plus stream/download it here.
