It looks like Lady Gaga can forget adding China dates to any upcoming tour she may have had in mind, because the pop star is officially banned by the communist country for meeting with the Dalai Lama. This is the second time China shunned Gaga, as she was previously banned from the country after the release of 2011's Born This Way.

Gaga sat down with the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader over the weekend during the US Conference of Mayors in Indianapolis for a discussion on the need for kindness and compassion. China's propaganda department then issued "an important instruction" banning any mention of Gaga from party-controlled news outlets and her music wiped from Chinese websites.
