If anyone is going to refresh a '90s pop classic, it should really be Lafawndah. Her take on Ace Of Base's iconic 'All That She Wants' seems to breathe new life into the record; a record that's been covered many times before.

Produced by Nick Weiss, Tamer Fahri and Lafawndah, the track is given a tropical refresh with deep drums and a funky groove that's bound to get the stiffest of hips moving. There's also a slight interpolation of Lumidee's 'Never Leave You' towards adding another nostalgic ribbon to the bow. "I wanted to pay an homage to a childhood feeling: being obsessed by a song, knowing all the lyrics by heart while having a pretty opaque understanding of what the song actually is about," she said of her cover. 'All That She Wants' is not about romantic love, and even though my understanding of the song was partial, something subconsciously made its way. Also it's a nod to non-English speakers' way of writing English lyrics and the charm of how clumsy it sounds, it's almost a new language made of a language everyone knows."

There's an accompanying short film also available to watch, which is directed by Analisa Teachworth and Lafawndah and details Lafawndah's distinctive reworking of the track. You can watch it here.
