Lambchop re-appeared in December to usher us into the cold months with the beautiful 'The December-ish You', the first track to be shared from the forthcoming This (is what I wanted to tell you), which is coming out on March 22nd through City Slang. Now that winter has well and truly settled in, Lambchop return again with another warming new song 'Everything For You'.

As someone who prefers to let his art do the talking, Kurt Wagner has offered up the short explanation of 'Everything For You' as "a collection of imperfections on the road to a better day."

It's a simple introduction to what is a simply charming song - although musically it is surreptitiously dense. Comprising playful piano, squelching keys and a levitating organ sound, all sewn together by deft drumming, 'Everything For You' is a modern tapestry interpretation of an old crooner's song. Wagner is again singing through vocoder, but as usual it's perfectly judged to fit into the unusual but immediately comforting surrounding he has created.

Equally unusual is the video for 'Everything For You', directed by Jonny Sanders. It's best you just watch it below.
