Lana Del Rey wants you to know she's not the kind of artist to resort to a marketing ploy.

While speaking to Radio.com, Lana revealed the source of all the leaked tracks that surfaced on the internet over the past few months.

"To be honest, what really happened was, three years ago somebody remotely accessed my hard drive, so even songs I've never emailed to myself [were accessed]," Lana explained. "There are hundreds of them." She went on to describe the way the nonstop leaks affected her recent work, as most of them were older demos, but 'Black Beauty' was to be featured on her upcoming LP. The singer added, "I do feel discouraged, yeah. I don’t really know what to put on the record. But I guess I could just put them on and see what happens."

The singer is expected to drop her new record sometime this year.
