You can listen to the second track (the first being 'Closure') to be taken from Lapalux's upcoming album Lustmore just below. It's called 'Don't Mean A Thing' and it's a tangle of skiffling squiffy beats underpinned by bloopsome bass and an organic foam of fizz, synth wanderings hopping up out of the deep and giving this a considered ethereal kind of mechanical atmosphere, a smooth and sophisticated machine from an alien species thousands of years our superior; the buzzing, the bleepings, the truncated vocal-cut outs, the gleaming guitar rising like a sudden drop of twinkling stars on a night sky. This is beautiful, blissful stuff that you'll slowly sink into as it bounces along its subtly virtuosic way, a delicate spirit encased on a robust vessel of sound.

The album, Lustmore, is out 7th April on Brainfeeder. The tracklist is below. The artwork is above – I love the concept of a cocktail reflected into infinity, let alone this actual visual reality, so it's great for me, how is it for you?
