Fascinating Liverpool songwriter, Laura J Martin plays a multitude of instruments from flutes to xylophones, using the instruments to create her own sonic sweet spot that she's generous enough to share with us. In anticipation for the release of her third album On The Never Never on March 11, (which was recorded in Nashville with Mark Nevers,) enjoy the opus' second single, a tingling ode to what's temporary and what's real.

"Being somewhere other than your home, struggling to find roots and bearings. It's about the renting generation and transient lifestyles, friends who pop in to your life for a short time and then disappear," Laura says. "Being somewhere to find your fortune for now and making a home for the time being - it could be anywhere, it's not forever. Searching out the bright lights and ending up on the edges."
