LCD Soundsystem's legendary farewell gig will be released by Parlophone for Record Store Day, April 19th. The Long Goodbye: LCD Soundsystem Live At Madison Square Garden is a 5-LP vinyl recording of the band's four-hour gig at New York's Madison Square Garden on April 2nd 2011, and was produced/mixed by LCD founder James Murphy..

The performance saw Murphy, Pat Mahoney, Nancy Whang, Al Doyle, Gavin Russom, Tyler Pope and Matt Thornley joined by a choir, string and horn sections, as well as one-time-only special guests and many of the musicians with whom the band has worked over the years, including 'North American Scum' with guest vocals from Arcade Fire and a full performance of '45:33' featuring Reggie Watts.
