Rather than bringing you a gigantic rundown of Leefest, and how it began, we decided to send the 405tv crew down to Beckenham to talk to festival Founder Lee Denny so that he could explain it to us in person.

Check out the interview below, as well as our top five picks for the festival.

And for our top picks of the week...

Casiokids

Casiokids

Earlier this year the "Norweigan electo wonderkids" Casiokids released the stunning Aabenbaringen Over Aaskammen, and if it did one thing, it was to make us dance. I don't know if you know this, but 'Dancing' + 'Festivals' = good times. Fact.

Foe

Foe

Foe is one of those performers that can destroy you without you even knowing about it. We recommend you go with the flow and let it happen. Not to be missed.

Summer Camp

Summer Camp

Oh Summer Camp, how we love you. We expect awesome attire, plenty of smiles and perhaps the set of the weekend. Watch our session with them to see what you're in for (minus the acoustics of course).

Fever Fever

Fever Fever

The powerhouse trio Fever Fever recently put out a cassette on Kissability, and it sold out very quickly. This should give you an indication as to how in demand they are. Stunning band, with a lot of potential. Essential.

Slow Club

Slow Club

What more can we say about Slow Club? They've been creating amazing pop music for the last few years now, and they just seem to get better and better with every passing year. Expect sing-a-longs deep into the night.

Leefest takes place 29-30th June in Highams Hill Farm in Surrey. For more information/tickets, head to leefest.org.uk. We'll see you down there!
