Leonard Cohen has recently caused waves when he revealed that his former tour manager allegedly sent him death threats before they parted ways.

Kelley Lynch, Cohen’s manager until 2004, is now on trial for her former actions, which resulted in Cohen filing a restraining order against her.

In an interview with Spinner, Cohen, who presented evidence of Lynch “showering” him with harassments, said, “It started with just a few now and then, but it eventually accelerated to 20 or 30 [threats] a day.” The accusations also included death threats, extravagant voice-mails, and emails sometimes surpassing 50 pages in length.

In addition, Cohen has also insinuated that Lynch also stole upwards of $5 million from Cohen, which prompted the legendary musician to tour. The harassment trial is still ongoing.
