It has been announced that Mystery Jets' Kai Fish will be releasing his debut album on September 26th. The LP will be called Life In Monochrome and was recorded with help from Californian producer Dean Reid; featuring on the full-length will be Kai's fellow Mystery Jets band members (William Rees, Kapil Trivedi), Elephant's Lisa Wisznia and singer Sophie-Rose Harper.

Kai Fish, who is said to have written his new record during a single train journey, is a reputable songwriter in his own right, having penned songs for the likes of Mark Ronson and The Count & Sinden. Expect Life In Monochrome to be a record of colourful, cinematic pop; fittingly, Kai will be playing a life show at St Pancras Old Church, London, on 3rd August which is not to be missed.
