You know how much we like photography here at The 405 by now, right? Well, as part of this never-ending love for photojournalism and for music (it goes without saying), we present to you a new photo series whereby we'll be exploring the myriad recording studios tucked away and nestled in hidey-holes all over London.

And what better way to begin than with the effortlessly atmospheric Lightship95, a 550-ton boat-turned-studio permanently moored at Trinity Buoy Wharf, East London, combining the practicality of a studio with the bygone utility of this ghost from London's more water-faring past.
