After admitting that he felt like a "prisoner" locked into an inert and somewhat suppressive contract with Cash Money records, Lil Wayne has more than hinted at an album that follows this theme of musical imprisonment: The Free Weezy Album.

He shared the news via a pair of tweets:

As you may or may not know, Lil Wayne is currently embroiled in a legal battle against his label home, Cash Money, and the label's owner (and his former mentor) Birdman. He's suing them for $51 million dollars, and wants to break his contract to sever ties with the label, since they repeatedly block, delay or otherwise hinder his new releases – namely, a new album still lost in limbo, Tha Carter V.
