Over the weekend Lilly Allen suggested that "about 5 years ago" someone asked her to perform on Second Life for "hundreds of thousands of bitcoins." That might not seem like much to you and me, but as Mashable points out, even if the rather vague "hundreds of thousands of bitcoins" that she referred to equalled one hundred thousand bitcoins, it would still be worth a staggering $91,200,000 in today's money.

Considering the cryptocurrency was barely noteworthy five years ago, let alone worth anything, it's unsurprising that she turned it down. Still, that's got to hurt a little, right?
