We've been itching voraciously to bring you news of the Linnea Olsson variety for awhile now, and now the day has come. Read on...

The saccharine Swedish Cellist today announced details of her debut album, AH, and also unveiled a video for 'Dinosaur', the first single to be taken from the LP. Olsson has previously collaborated with fellow Scandinavians Ane Brun, Nina Kinert and Frida Hyvonen - though this is her first solo outing; we've been fortunate enough to hear the album in full, and it's a gorgeous listen, evocative of bucolic Swedish surroundings as her delicate voice encompasses the scenery. A perfect marriage of Neo-classical and pop. Most likely to soundtrack a pivotal scene in a (good) Fox Searchlight picture soon, or possibly a Noah Baumbach film. Whatever, it's lovely.

AH is released on October 29th via Götterfunk Productions, with 'Dinosaur' out on September 24th.
