Neneh Cherry, the Swedish-born songstress who gained famed in the 80s with her off-hand hit single ‘Buffalo Stance’ (and a bit of acclaim from her jazz-icon stepfather Don Cherry), has released her first new music in nearly 13 years.

The collaborative album alongside jazz group The Thing (for an aptly titled album The Cherry Thing) features covers from artists such as The Stooges, MF Doom, and the aforementioned Don Cherry, among others, and will be available 18 June.

You can listen to a cover of Suicide’s ‘Dream Baby Dream’ from the album below.
