Isle of Wight four-piece The Shutes are due to release their new EP 'Echo of Love' on Monday (2nd April), and are offering up the wonderfully hazy track 'She Said' to celebrate. Proving once again that guitar music isn't quite dead yet, 'She Said' is a melancholic, romanticised jam with a dizzying riff and a chorus with an incredibly catchy hook that'll keep you coming back for more. Despite being produced by the Guillemots and Midlake associated man Julian Simmons, 'She Said' is a far juicier, tightly-packed jam than any those band's latest works. You've heard The Strokes, you've heard The Shins - now here's The Shutes with the best of both.
