Eternal Lips is a new project from Brooklyn musician Grey Gersten. He considers it "outsider pop" that's looking to "explore pop music in a totally honest and non-ironic way." I'm into it. If you're like "who is this guy and why should I care?" Well, I'd say that's a good question, but he's worked with John Zorn, Michael Hurley, and TV on the Radio's Kyp Malone. Pretty great credentials.

Eternal Lips' EP will be self-titled and released on 25th February through New Mirage Records. 'Dream Hesitate' is the first offering from that EP and it features the ever-too-lovely Sharon Van Etten on vocals. Gersten recently spoke with the AV Club about the song, saying the song is about ”believing in yourself and doubting yourself at the same time… while eating a cheeseburger.” Take that as you will, and stream 'Dream Hesitate' below.
