This is the sound of East London-based producer, Dreamtrak. Real name Oliver Horton, he's previously produced work from well-known acts including Foals, CYMBALS and Swim Deep, but is currently embroiled in the run up to the release of his debut self-titled EP, due out 9th October via Double Denim.

You might also remember when A. G. Cook remixed Dreamtrak's 'Odyssey, Pt. 2'.

But to get a taste of what to expect from the five-track EP, give 'Bad Thoughts' a lil listen below. It's a journey of flighty, slightly French-touch electronica, crunchy synthetic harpsichord sounds juddering throughout over a thumping bed of deep kicks, fluid whooshing cymbals and hi-hats raising the intensity along with arpeggiated bleeps towards the end, the occasional booming drum and incomprehensible robotic vox sample decorating it all, tying a bow round the general sense of analogue epicness.
