Last month, Leeds outfit Black Surf captured some appropriate but lofty comparisons to Weezer - specifically Pinkerton-era Weezer - with the sludgy pop rock of 'Lights Out'. The endearingly simple, but effective track came from the group's upcoming EP of the same name, which also boasts the similarly likeable 'Army Of Sheep'.

Much like their previous single, 'Army Of Sheep' effectively grows on the listener with waves of outwardly catchy choruses and sun blistered chords, even if the title seems to imply some Rage Against the Machine heavy-handed politics. Listen to 'Army Of Sheep' below and look out for the band's Light Out EP, coming soon.
