Melding ominous wedding bell chimes with slick harmonies, 'Songbird Bouquet' is a delectable marriage of pop and rock. At 131 seconds, it's the most compact Borrowed Beams of Light have ever been, and yet it squeezes in a whole host of sounds and parts into its lean structure.

Kicking in with a powerful Southern, bluesy guitar riff, it mellows into a warped melody of chimes - before ending with an ascending line which sees frontman Adam Brock singing "You've got me coughing out the feathers." It's a delightful mixture of instruments, and is a bit like they've tamed the atmospheric indie-rock of Grizzly Bear into a big, huggable teddy - proving that although their name be quite the mouthful - you really need an earful.
