Let's face it, Daniel James isn't a particularly remarkable name for a singer-songwriter. Fortunately there's nothing unremarkable about his debut single, 'The Bridge'. Bold, assured and effortlessly engaging, James has produced an acoustic-driven indie-pop song with a huge, emotive chorus that surely deserves to be sung across this summer's festival main stages.

The London based singer-songwriter is the antithesis of a typical sing-by-numbers pop star; everything from his intelligent and thoughtful songwriting, to the 'The Bridge's interesting source of inspiration (coming from a 1984 documentary about street kids in Seattle dealing with sex and drugs) sets James up as an engaging and captivating career artist.
