Before heading to the studio and constructing its newest album, Scottish outfit Delta Mainline offered a feverishly enjoyable preview of the work to come with 'Vultures'.

The Cairn String Quartet, which previously worked with the likes of Echo & The Bunnymen and Young Fathers, brings the sweeping strings over the lush atmosphere of 'Vultures', ushering in apt comparisons to previously likened projects like Spiritualized and British Sea Power. Initially recorded at Chem 19 Studios and mastered at the legendary Abbey Road studios, the single broaches its eclectic climax, with the full scale of mountainous elements surging at a vigorous and rewarding finish.

The 7" single will be available next month, courtesy of Fox Box Records with a pair of included remixes from fellow Scottish DJ's Miaoux Miaoux and Remember Remember. The band's upcoming new album will be recorded shortly after with an expected release in early 2016, three years after the band's debut album Oh! Enlightened.
