In late 2017 experimental electronic label Life and Death put out a compilation called Displaced Soundtracks, which presented various producers with the challenge of creating tracks for an abandoned film. The result was so inspiring and original that they've gone and done it again, with a whole new set of contributors, for Displaced Soundtracks Vol. 2, which will be released on January 25th.

Life and Death founder Manfredi Romano (DJ Tennis) says that “the score is a translation of our imagination, memories and emotions into music, with no protocols." This idea has captured the imaginations of the likes of DJ Nobu, Vatican Shadow, Midland, Scuba and more who have all contributed new material.

You can hear DJ Nobu's chirping and sonorous techno take 'Spring' below. Beneath you can see the full track list and pre-order information for Displaced Soundtracks Vol. 2.
