Since the end of last year, Argentinan label Pakapi Records has been exploring the music of a network of South American musicians who explore an interzone equally informed by early industrial and tropical music. After kicking off with the cassette/digital release of Industria Tropical (a compilation album co-curated by Was Ist Das?), they've been rolling out a series of digital EPs from the artists surveyed across it.

With their latest release, Invasión Gorila vol2 Resiste, mysterious Miramar, Argentina-based musician El Zombi Flash concocts a mixture of actual voodoo rhythms played by 808s, tropical nightmares and zombie warfare broadcasts. Six songs long, it's compelling, original and at points, down right creepy.

You can stream/purchase Invasión Gorila vol2 Resiste via the Pakapi Records Bandcamp page.
