If 'Choker is any indication, Honeyblood, the debut album from the Glasgow duo of the same name, is going to be pretty awesome. The track opens with some crunchy guitar work as singer Stina Maria Claire anguishes over a dickhead boyfriend.

But don't let that garage-y intro fool you - 'Choker' is full of catchy lyrics, call-and-response vocals and big, driving musical accompaniment.

Honeyblood have only been around since 2012, but they're already making a big splash in the music world. Hopefully the self-titled debut LP features even more raucous gems like 'Choker'. Honeyblood is out May 20 from Fat Cat records.
