Channeling the white hot bleakness of post-punk using Sinead O'Connor as a muse might not be the most obvious way to make a statement, but Iceage's cover of her 1987 track 'Jackie' is brutally desolate.

Released on November 18th as the B-side to lead single 'You're Nothing', taken from their new album of the same name, this might be one to pick up on pre-order from Matador as we can't see there being many copies hanging around.

Listen to 'Jackie' below. It's okay to get shivers. The band play the Old Blue Last in London on November 9th.
