There's numerous reasons why Katy Perry is the popstar you're allowed to like (despite that being a slightly absurd notion), but the obvious one is that 99% of the time she sticks to the super-sized chorus/catchy lyrics mantra of good pop music. She also tends to stay clear of the euro-pop minefield. Which is good.

'Walking On Air' is not euro-pop ("I was like I really want to bring that authentic '90s deep house song styling back." Ok), but neither is it very good. Thankfully 'Roar' is still good enough to carry it.

Listen below, and look out for the album when it's released on October 22nd via Capitol Records.
