"I tried to sing differently for so much of my childhood," writes Ireland native Lyra on the heels of her debut song 'Rabbit In The Headlights'. "I even tried singing with a British accent! It made me unhappy trying to be something that I wasn't. Ultimately I learned I couldn't be anything other than my true self - I wrote this song to help myself and others realize, there’s only one you on this earth - be it"

The learning curve to her own unique voice is evident on the debut track, which comes with the help of producer Rupert Christie, whose previous work was with the likes of Coldplay and Kate Bush. Lyra is much more of the latter than the former (fortunately for some), bringing out an ultra-dynamic sweep of emotive pop in her single.
