Mary Ann Vasquez has they type of pure R&B voice that only comes around once in a blue moon. Preferring to let her words and crystal-clear melodies tell the story rather than experimenting with wild vibrato-hand-waving nonsense, there's something about her songwriting that sounds disarmingly genuine.

There's not much to this track - a dusty old drum beat, the background wooooaaaaarrrrwwww of a synth bassline and a tiny little melody loop - but it's the voice that's the important thing here. She's like an honest Ciara, punching through her own emotional turmoil to pierce her ex-boo's heart with cold hard truths.

Listen for yourself, it's the most beautiful take-down we've ever heard.
