It's not even been a month yet and Sweden's latest superstar-in-waiting - the "quietly eccentric songbird Nadia Nair - is back with more musical goodness. While her debut release 'Something, Something, Something' took on a more dark, minimal & atmospheric approach, 'Dear Brother' has more of an epic pop edge, described as a "woeful, non-religious gospel" to the brother that she never had. It manages to merge and transcend barriers by combining her Malaysian-Indian heritage with Sweden's modern, forward-thinking approach to pop music, making Nair the latest in a line of genre benders from the Scandi-region of Europe.

After launching Naboobia Records, Nadia Nair will release her debut album later this year and it looks like we're going to be in for a treat.
