Japanese noise-rock dynamo and loving Wayne Coyne inspiration Yoshimi P-We will be releasing the seventh studio album with all-girl noise punk grou OOIOO later this month.

Gamel, which was released in Japan last year, will be re-distributed in Europe courtesy of Thrill Jockey. The magnetic release overflows with the odd-ball stylings evident on 'Jesso Testa', which can be streamed below.

The 46-year-old Yoshimi is perhaps more well-known as the drummer for sonic experimentalists Boredoms, which formed a few years before she joined UFO or Die. Through all her work, Yoshimi and OOIOO remain on a confident edge, collectively mining brilliant imaginative pieces since the band's 1997 debut on tour with Sonic Youth

For a sample of Gamel, out June 30th, listen to 'Jesso Testa' below and look out for the band on an upcoming ultra-rare U.S. tour.
