The North West Londoner Oscar has been making waves over the past couple of years with his blend of neo-Brit pop, harking back to the '90s glory days of Damon and Pulp but with a fresh spin, none more so on this re-worked version of bedroom early single 'Sometimes'.

Signed to cult indie label Wichita who broke Bloc Party over 10 years ago, here's hoping the same path is set for Oscar. He studied sculpture at Saint Martin's, is classically trained in piano, references clunky retro flip phones and samples everything from opera to East Coast rap - a very modern pop star indeed.
