After roaring through alongside Daft Punk on Random Access Memories, news that Pharrell Williams will be curating the soundtrack to the Despicable Me sequel has come out, along with an original Williams' track. He, of course, also curated the original film's soundtrack.

Considering its for an animated feature directed at younger audiences, 'Happy' seems fitting. The track was made with the help of composer Heitor Pereira, whose previous compositions have been featured in Gladiator and Mission Impossible 2.

Head over to Hypebeast to listen to the upbeat track. Despicable Me 2 will be in theaters June 3rd.
