Following the release of his AWOL EP earlier this year, London based singer-songwriter Raheem Bakaré joins forces with rising south London beauty Tanika for a sensational remix of EP cut 'Purple Sky', premiering here at The 405.

Having recently been labelled a 'One to Watch' by the MOBO Organisation, Raheem Bakaré has enjoyed a sensational year that has included highly praised performances at Reading + Leeds Festivals, the Camden Crawl and a sold out headline show at London's Social in the summer resulting in Bakaré being invited to perform at BET's Music Matters first UK stage. Next month he reunites with BET for a special performance in New York.

For fan favourite 'Purple Sky', Bakaré enlists the smooth, soulful vocals of singer/songwriter Tanika, whose previous collaborations include Naughty Boy, MNEK and Zebra Katz, adding an additional dynamic to an already sensational slice of soulful R&B. Following the release of her debut EP earlier this year, Tanika is hard at work on her follow up project due for release in the coming months. Bakaré is also working on new material set for release in the New Year.
